A Magical Performance of The Snow Queen

At CDS, we believe that “what you learn and who you become are equally important.” In our middle school, theater and drama provide a unique platform for our students to continue developing into compassionate, resilient, and socially responsible individuals who are prepared to make a positive impact in their communities and beyond. 

 

On Monday evening, our middle school theater enrichment students gave a performance of The Snow Queen that was nothing short of magical. From the moment the curtains rose, the audience was captivated with amazement as they were taken to a fantastic world of wonder. The amount of time and care that went into preparing for the performance was evident in many ways, from the costumes and makeup to the set design and lighting. The students delved into their characters’ backgrounds, relationships, and emotions to portray them so authentically. Every line delivered and every movement made on the stage was magical. The audience was transported into a winter wonderland that captured their imagination as the story unfolded.
